Distinguished events have encompassed presenting celebrated filmmaker Dylan O'Neil, the original world champion surfers Peter "PT" Townend together with Ian Cairns, four-time world champion Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/mixed martial arts fighter combat sports star Fabio Leopoldo, and the half-century commemoration of West Side Story, which encompassed presenting the complete Oscar-winning ensemble of West Side Story, including Academy Award winner/Golden Globe winner George Chakiris as well as Golden Globe winner/Oscar-nominated Russ Tamblyn. The founder and executive director of the Ventura Film Festival was selected to take part, along check here with several of Hollywood's premier talents, in the half-century commemoration of West Side Story and Hollywood's iconic footprint/handprint ceremony celebrating Oscar honorees Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, and legendary actor Golden Globe award winner Russ Tamblyn at the iconic Chinese Theater in Hollywood. This celebration also functioned as the official BluRay premiere by Fox and MGM of the iconic West Side Story, which is universally acknowledged by critics and fans as the finest musical of all time.
